I am the Director of The Lighthouse, where I get to help senior leaders in K-12 organizations build their capacity for instructional and strategic leadership.

 

Using my experiences as former Iowa principal and executive leader I created the Workshop, a learning space that has helped more than 200 educational leaders:

• Confidently get into classrooms every day and hold feedback conversations impacting teacher practice

• Strengthen their school and district's MTSS implementation through data analysis and improved direct instruction

• Discover their best opportunities for school improvement and prioritization​

• Better understand special education law and how to ensure their schools are serving students and families at the highest levels

 

Long-lasting growth takes vision and personal investment, as well as scalable leadership and strategic implementation. And, sometimes you need a trusted partner to help you reach your goals.

 

That's where I come in.

 

When I'm not working in this space, I mentor entrepreneurs, serve on the board of two non-profits, enjoy time with my beautiful family, and practice yoga.
